Latest Sales Results – The Strongest Result in Over Two Years

An article from REIV shows the strongest Auction results in Melbourne in over two years! The results ranged from the most affordable apartment which sold for $246,000 to the most expensive house which sold for a cool $5,155,000:

A clearance rate of 73 per cent was recorded this weekend compared to 70 per cent last weekend and 57 per cent this weekend last year.

This is the strongest result in over two years.

REIV Property Update for Quarter 2, 2012

The Real Estate Institute of Victoria (REIV) has released its latest Property Update for the second quarter of 2012. It shows some mixed results for the Geelong region.

Sales median data shows a surprising 15.9% annual increase for Belmont followed by Grovedale at 5.90%. Faring not so well at the other end were Ocean Grove with an annual reduction of 10.6% and Barwon Heads with a reduction of 8.2%.
