Geelong Mother’s Day Classic 2014 – Supporting Research into Breast Cancer Prevention and Treatment

A record 97 locations were in the pink around Australia yesterday for the Mother’s Day Classic, Australia’s largest breast cancer research fundraiser. More than 4,500 runners took part in the Geelong annual fun run.

This year there was a new course on offer, so participants were able to run or walk the 4km and 8km in new surrounds, taking in the fabulous foreshore and all it had to offer.  With spot prizes for competitors, entertainment and activities at the expo area, there was something for everyone whether running, walking cheering or volunteering.
